Nicholas W. Lim, MBA
Chief Executive Officer
After a successful career in technology sales and marketing, followed by graduate school in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship, Nick became an advisor and mentor to entrepreneurs in various industries. The son of a cancer survivor, Nick honors the memory of his father by empowering new ventures in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Nick holds a BS degree in Computer Science and Economics from Syracuse University, an MBA in Finance from The University of Texas at El Paso, and doctoral studies in Strategy and Entrepreneurship, also from UTEP.
On those occasions when Nick is not working, he can be found touring Tucson on his Ducati motorcycle, or walking his two Rhodesian Ridgebacks with his darling wife Kathy.
Michael C. Larson, MD, PhD
Chief Science Officer
Mike is a physician completing a residency in radiology at Banner University Medical Center. Throughout his life, Mike has had a focus on friends and family members affected by cancer. He witnessed the suffering caused by cancer therapies as well as the disease itself. As a researcher and physician, he discovered a critical bottleneck preventing precise and personalized care for cancer patients, and vowed to remove this obstacle.
Mike holds a BS in Applied Physics from Utah State University, a PhD in Biophysics and an MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
A prolific scientist and inventor, Mike manages his work as a physician and entrepreneur while being a devoted father of four kids and husband to his lovely wife, Robyn.
Dan Almazan, BSE Bioengineering
Vice President, Product Development
After several successful medical device commercial launches and more than 10 years of industry experience as an engineer and marketing product manager, Dan joins D3 Sciences as the Vice President of Product Development.
Dan’s career defining moment came when a device he brought to market was used to help his wife during a biopsy. Today, Dan dedicates himself and his work to improving patient care and medical device performance. Dan holds a BSE in Bionegineering from Arizona State University.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his family at their swim meets, baseball and football games.
